The Palmeraie is Marrakech's palm grove: thousands of date palms, red earth tracks and small farms just north of the city. It is the easiest half-day escape in town, and the only place where you can ride a quad in the morning and still make your afternoon plans.
Quad and buggy circuits run along the dusty tracks with a guide in front, while camel and horse rides follow quieter paths between the palms, especially beautiful in the last hour before sunset, when the light turns gold.
